Victoria Gardens in Rosendale is hiring! We are seeking enthusiastic, energetic, and friendly crew members for our busy, independent plant nursery and landscaping division. This is a great fit for someone who likes to stay busy, feel accomplished, and has a dislike or frustration with desk jobs.

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • self-motivated

  • a clear and thoughtful communicator

  • a good listener who can work in a team

  • creative, adaptable, and able to switch gears easily

  • able to lift 50 lbs and perform physical work out of doors in all weather

  • available full-time: Mon-Fri. for the landscaping crew; for the retail shop full-time includes weekends and some warm-weather holidays

  • excellent at customer service and making people feel welcome in our store

*Interest in plants and love of the outdoors is a must. Knowledge and experience with plants and gardening is highly preferred. (But even if you don't have plant knowledge, if you've worked as a server or in a busy retail situation before and you want to learn about plants, you could be a good fit.)
