A Message From Victoria: Covid19, deliveries, and social distancing
/It’s very hard to know what to say in the face of this global pandemic. We are all trying our best to deal with difficult circumstances and offer comfort where we can. At Victoria Gardens we are trying to balance serving the community and our customers with being safe and protecting our staff.
If you’ve come into the store already, you know we’ve worked out a system where we don’t need to pass credit cards back and forth and there is enough space to be physically distant.
We’re also introducing a delivery service. We are still working out the details, but tentatively it will be running Wednesdays and Saturdays.
We’re also trying to stay in touch and keep you updated. Here’s a recorded message from Victoria:
And we’re trying to stay in touch on social media as well. As the weather gets nicer and nicer, we are going to be sharing some pictures and videos to brighten your day. Hopefully, seeing these amazing plants and flowers will help to remind you that things will not be like this forever! Trees are budding, flowers are blooming—thinking about how everything in nature inevitably changes can help to reduce stress and anxiety.
Here's what you can expect from us in the coming weeks:
• Videos of all the new arrivals at the nursery. Even if you are immune compromised or part of a vulnerable population, we don't want you to miss out on spring. You can watch as the plants come fresh from our growers, And if you see something you like, give us a call and we can provide curbside pickup.
• Pretty pictures. You can take your mind off the news and discover new blooms, unique perennials, and stunning trees and shrubs. The nursery is open, just call before you stop by. (845) 658-9007 The nursery and shop are spacious—you can shop here and maintain social distancing.
• Some garden design before and afters. We are proceeding with landscaping and spring cleanups where and when we can provide safe conditions for our crew. We'll be sharing some before-and-after's to entertain and inspire everyone at home.
We are doing our best to adjust to uncertain and changing circumstances. Please reach out if you have any questions.
Stay Calm and Garden On.
